Galiat (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) Natural Forest

Located in District Abbottabad, EPCL raised almost 50 ha (120 acres) of forest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including sites at Bagan and Tajwal compartments in Tauhidabad and Koza Galli in July 2009. The planted species included Deodar (Cedrus deodara), Fir (Abies pindrow) and Kail (Pinus wallichiana).

In the year 2010, EPCL started off with an orchard and mixed broadleaf plantation and forestation project on another 50 ha (120 acres) with the community of Arwar village, located in eastern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During 2011, along with launching its own mixed broadleaf nursery located at Palak village, EPCL also carried out plantation of 24 ha (60 acres) of land. Till date, EPCL has planted over 240 ha (593 acre) land at three different locations with an overall success rate of above 90%.
