
Saad holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering with a minor in International Relations from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Economics from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA). As a strong advocate of inculcating change at the grassroots level, Saad serves on the Curriculum Advisory Board for Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and Karachi University.
Saad started his journey at Engro in 2008 as a Graduate Trainee Engineer and has since served in multiple roles across both divisions and subsidiaries of Engro. He established the Business & Economics section at Engro Polymer and Chemicals along with managing Process & Project Engineering at Engro’s manufacturing plants. He was the driving force behind shaping the sustainability agenda at EPCL with his work on renewable energy, water neutrality, biofuels, and the circular economy.
He has also served as Chief of Staff to the President & CEO of Engro Corporation, where his efforts resulted in exemplary synchronization among departments, aligning people affairs, portfolio management, capital allocation, transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
Saad is currently serving as Head of Manufacturing at Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited, leading operational excellence to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in the company’s manufacturing operations.
